Quotations

Bed Bug Heat Treatment Quotations

Every quotation is property-specific and prepared by a person. Below we explain what a quotation covers and what it depends on.

Final quotations depend upon the individual property and treatment requirements.

In Plain English

How a quotation is prepared

We do not publish a price list or a pricing formula. A quotation is prepared once we understand the property and the treatment required.

Two treatments of the same size can differ considerably. A ground-floor bedroom in a house with convenient parking and straightforward equipment access is operationally different from an upper-floor apartment where equipment must be transported through communal areas or stairs.

We do not use fixed prices, and we do not sell treatment packages. The quotation reflects the treatment area and the practical requirements of carrying the treatment out properly.

That is also why every quotation is produced by a person rather than an automated system. Someone reviews the details you give us, asks follow-up questions if something is unclear, and confirms a price against the actual property — not a generic estimate.

Quotation Factors

Why do bed bug heat treatment prices vary?

These are the factors considered when producing a quotation. They are not automatic surcharges — they describe how much practical work the treatment involves.

Property type

A house and a flat or apartment can present very different practical requirements, even where the treatment area is the same size.

Floor level

Moving professional treatment equipment into an upper-floor property may create additional logistical requirements.

Lift access

Whether suitable lift access exists — and whether equipment can be moved in it — affects how the treatment is set up.

Parking & loading

The distance and practical access between the vehicle and the treatment property is part of every setup.

Number and size of rooms

Treatment area directly affects equipment and operational requirements.

Property layout & construction

Different properties respond differently during treatment, which affects planning and setup.

Electrical supply

Professional heat-treatment equipment requires suitable electrical capacity at the property.

Treatment complexity

Some properties require more complex equipment placement or treatment planning than others.

The equipment and setup a room needs is the practical basis of the quotation — not a fixed package price.

The full list of factors we consider

  • House versus flat or apartment
  • Property size
  • Room size
  • Number of rooms being treated
  • Floor level
  • Lift availability
  • Balcony or external access
  • Parking
  • Distance between parking and the property
  • Equipment access
  • Stairs
  • Property layout
  • Property construction
  • Electrical supply and capacity
  • Equipment requirements
  • Treatment complexity
  • Other practical requirements identified before treatment

A Realistic Comparison

Two one-bedroom treatments, two different jobs

Property A

  • One bedroom
  • Ground-floor house
  • Convenient parking
  • Straightforward equipment access

Property B

  • One bedroom
  • Upper-floor London apartment
  • Restricted parking
  • No suitable lift
  • Long equipment route through communal areas

Equipment access — stairs, lifts, parking and the route into the room — is part of what a quotation reflects.

Both involve treating one room, but they are not necessarily the same job operationally. That is why we quote per property rather than publishing a fixed price list.

Compare The Quote

What are you actually paying for?

A higher price does not automatically mean a better treatment. When you compare quotations, these are the questions worth asking any provider — including us.

Treatment documentation being completed after a bed bug heat treatmentIllustrative image
A quotation covers a monitored treatment and the documentation that follows it, not equipment hire alone.
  • What exactly is being treated?
  • How is treatment progress monitored?
  • Are multiple monitoring locations used?
  • What treatment documentation is provided?
  • Is preparation support included?
  • Is a guarantee provided?
  • What are the guarantee conditions?
  • What happens if activity is reported afterwards?
  • What evidence will I receive following treatment?

“We would rather explain why a treatment costs what it does than advertise a low headline price that does not reflect the property being treated.”

Your quotation is explained before you commit, including the treatment scope, what is included and the guarantee conditions that apply.

No Instant Calculator

Why we do not publish a price calculator

You will not find an automated price calculator on this site, and we do not intend to add one. An accurate quotation depends on details a simple form cannot capture reliably — floor level, lift and parking access, property layout and the electrical supply available. A number generated without that information is a guess, not a quotation, so every price we give is produced by a person after reviewing your property.

Included & Excluded

What a quotation includes — and what it does not

Included in your quotation

  • Preparation requirements and guidance for your property
  • Professional heating and monitoring equipment for the agreed treatment area
  • A monitored treatment delivered on the agreed date
  • Treatment documentation, available in your customer portal
  • For qualifying treatments, our conditional six-month guarantee

Not included

  • Removal or disposal of furniture and belongings
  • Cleaning, repairs or redecoration of the property
  • Treatment of rooms outside the agreed scope
  • Repeat treatment where the guarantee conditions are not met

If your circumstances need something outside a standard quotation, tell us before treatment day so it can be discussed and, where possible, agreed in advance.

6-Month Guarantee

Our six-month guarantee provides additional reassurance following qualifying treatments. Full guarantee conditions are provided before treatment and form part of the customer agreement.

Terms and conditions apply. The guarantee is conditional, and known operational conditions include matters such as:

  • Bed bug activity originating from an adjoining property
  • Reintroduction following treatment
  • Activity outside the agreed treatment scope
  • Failure to comply with agreed preparation requirements
  • Failure to follow relevant aftercare requirements

Full conditions are provided in writing before treatment. This page explains the principle of the guarantee only — it is not the customer agreement.
