Greater London

Bed Bug Heat Treatment in London

London is not a county and we do not treat it like one. Coverage is organised by borough, because the borough — together with the building type, the floor and the way the block is managed — decides what a heat treatment actually involves. A ground-floor Victorian conversion in Hackney, a fifth-floor flat in a managed Tower Hamlets block and a suburban semi in Bromley are three different jobs.

    Areas we cover

    Areas we cover in London

Service areas grouped by borough. Places shown here are recognised service areas; a town has its own coverage page only where we can publish genuinely useful local information.

Greater London is 32 boroughs plus the City of London. Postal London (the E, EC, N, NW, SE, SW, W and WC areas) does not match the boroughs, and outer postal areas such as BR, CR, DA, EN, HA, IG, KT, RM, SM, TW, UB and WD straddle the London boundary. We record the borough, not the postal town.

    Property and access

What affects a London heat treatment

The practical detail of the building changes the plan far more than the region does.

    Converted houses and flats

Much of inner London is Victorian and Edwardian houses split into flats. Conversions frequently share floor voids, risers and party walls between units, so the treated area has to be sealed and monitored with the neighbouring flats in mind, and neighbours may need to be informed.

    Mansion blocks and purpose-built estates

Mansion blocks and post-war estates have thick internal structures, communal corridors and, often, a caretaker or estate office. Equipment routes, lift dimensions and out-of-hours access are agreed with the building before a date is held.

    Managed buildings and new-build towers

In managed developments the freeholder or managing agent controls loading bays, service lifts, fire-alarm isolation and permitted working hours. That permission is part of planning the job, not an afterthought on the day.

    HMOs and shared housing

London has a very large shared-housing sector. Every occupant's room has to be prepared, and someone must be responsible for access and for keeping the property empty during treatment.

Floor level, lift and stair access

Equipment weight, lift size and stair width genuinely limit what can be brought into a flat. We confirm floor level, lift availability and the carrying route before quoting.

    Parking, loading and restrictions

Controlled parking zones, red routes, the Congestion Charge and ULEZ, permit-only bays and narrow terraced streets all affect how equipment reaches the property. Loading arrangements are confirmed in advance.

    Adjoining properties

In terraces, conversions and blocks, bed bugs can move between units. We are explicit about what treating one flat can and cannot achieve when the neighbouring property is also affected.

    Outer London suburbs

Bromley, Havering, Hillingdon, Sutton and Croydon are largely inter-war and post-war houses with driveways and predictable layouts — logistically closer to a home-counties job than an inner-London one.

    6-Month Guarantee

Our six-month guarantee provides additional reassurance following qualifying treatments. Full guarantee conditions are provided before treatment and form part of the customer agreement.

Terms and conditions apply. The guarantee is conditional, and known operational conditions include matters such as:

    • Bed bug activity originating from an adjoining property
    • Reintroduction following treatment
    • Activity outside the agreed treatment scope
    • Failure to comply with agreed preparation requirements

We do not publish invented local case studies. Anonymised London evidence will appear here once genuine treatment records have been through our approval and anonymisation process.

    Questions

    London questions

Which parts of London do you cover?
Greater London sits inside our operating region and CoverageMaps Pro™ recognises all 32 boroughs and the City of London. Whether we can treat a specific property depends on the building, access and scheduling, which is confirmed at enquiry stage.
My postcode is E, N, SE or SW — which borough am I in?
Postal districts and boroughs do not line up. Search your full postcode above and CoverageMaps Pro™ will name the borough its district falls in, and flag where the district crosses into another borough or county.
Do you treat flats in managed blocks and towers?
Yes, where the building allows it. Managing-agent permission, lift and loading access, floor level and any fire-system requirements are confirmed before a date is held.
My neighbour also has bed bugs. Can you treat just my flat?
Treating one flat is possible and often necessary, but in a conversion or block bed bugs can move between units. We will tell you honestly what a single-property treatment can achieve in your building rather than promising a whole-block result.
    Do you publish borough-by-borough pages?
No. Boroughs are recognised in the geographic engine and used to answer your search, but we do not publish a page for every borough simply to appear in local searches.
Do you have a London office?
We are a specialist mobile heat treatment service and do not publish local office addresses. Greater London is a service area, not a branch location.
