Oast houses and converted rural buildings
Converted oasts, barns and farm buildings across mid-Kent have unusual volumes, tall spaces and non-standard services, which affects heat distribution and monitoring points.
Commuter town apartments
Ashford, Maidstone, Dartford and Ebbsfleet have modern managed apartment developments where lift access, loading and managing-agent permission are the deciding practical factors.
Access on the London fringe and the coast

- Is Medway part of Kent?
- Medway is in the ceremonial county of Kent but is a separate unitary authority, not part of Kent County Council. We label Medway hubs accordingly rather than treating every ME postcode the same way.
- My postcode is TN — is that Kent or Sussex?
- Both exist. TN1 to TN18 are largely Kent, while TN19 to TN40 reach into East Sussex, and Royal Tunbridge Wells itself is in Kent even though its postal area crosses the border. The table above states each district.
- Are Dartford and Bromley in Kent?
- Dartford is in Kent. Bromley has historic Kent addresses but has been a Greater London borough since 1965, so we classify BR districts by the authority they actually fall in. Both are inside our operating regions.
- Can you treat an oast house or timber-framed property?
- Often, yes, but these buildings need an individual assessment. Volume, insulation, historic fabric and monitoring positions are considered before any plan is fixed.
- Do you have an office in Kent?
- We are a specialist mobile heat treatment service and do not publish local office addresses. Kent is a service area, not a branch location.
